Steve Yancy

Steve Yancy was born on September 30 1951 in Greenville, South Carolina to the proud parents, Novella and Richard Yancy.

He was a Veteran in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He served his country for three years, and wore his medals with honor and dignity.

He departed this life August 5, 1979 in tragedy.

He leaves to mourn his wife Janet, two children, Deianna and Maurice, his father,Richard and stepmother, Irene. And he also leaves to mourn a dear friend (Diana McKissack). Also four devoted brothers, Dwight, Richard, Lynn, and Barry, two loving sisters, Wanda, and Carol, two nieces, Lyneshia and Taneshia, one nephew, Kevin and a host of other relatives and friends.
